The... read more cottage is perfect for 2 people in a very quiet spot (but very convenient for the A1) with beautiful views of the rolling countryside.  We loved being able to sit  out at the front of the cottage in the evening & breakfast in the back garden.  

Short drives to Lindisfarne & Seahouses & my old favourite, Newton by the Sea.  Would loved to have stayed for longer.  Thank you for a super  stay.

Communication was kept to a minimum, owners were away but their mum checked on us briefly. A message asking if all was ok would have been hospitable of them. 

The bed sheets were tired and had been stitched to mend them. I would have expected them to be pristine. We were there in April during a glorious sunny spell so the heating wasnt needed. however, it could have been usual April cold so at least there was some heat!

That said,  those three things didnt matter at all because the additional record player with vinyls was cool, lovely welcome pack and we were dropped off duck eggs too which were delicious. Comfy bed, lovely warm shower and sweet bee theme.

So to sum up, great hosts, great place would come back. Get booking. ♥️

What made it extra special were the treats, after a... read more long drive, theres no better way of settling in, than with a brew. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits all waiting for us on our arrival.



A really lovely, cosy place. Very peaceful and tranquil, just what we needed to recharge our bodies.

					  Honestly not a bad word to say about our stay. The small details in the house were what made it feel super special. The interiors were so cute and quirky... read more we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Fantastic location, not far from beaches or food pubs and easy to get to straight from the A1. We would 100% stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful Northumberland.

A real gem in Northumberland We booked through Airbnb and can honestly say out of the many Airbnb we have booked in the UK, Canada and US - Honey Nuc really stands out. It's a perfect base for some of Northumberlands great spots (Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick and the National Park etc) all within short driving distance. Honey Nuc is very well laid out a very comfy bed with views overlooking the garden and outside seating area. The kitchen/diner is a great space with TV, LP player, DAB radio, oven and hob. A very spacious shower Location wise it's perfect just far enough off the A1 to be handy to get anywhere easily, but far enough down to give a genuine farm surrounding with ducks, hens and chickens. Quiet and peaceful, great to look out on a night at the night sky without light pollution. Our daughter loved that just outside the garden gate there's chickens and hens plodding around! We will definitely be back and highly recommend Honey Nuc and the owners are very friendly and have created a real Northumberland Gem HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ?

Stunning views literally on the doorstep. Small but perfectly formed home from home. Great location close to A1 (which you can't hear) and to the stunning coastline. Had a great week here and hope to come back.

A super, beautifully presented cottage in a stunning location. We loved our stay at the Honey Nuc and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway! There is lots to do in the surrounding area and we are still thinking about our walks on the wonderfully clean and picturesque beaches at Bamburgh. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I stayed here for the week in October and had the most lovely relaxed week. The Honey Nuc is just charming. Beautifully decorated, beautiful views and has everything you need to live home from home. We loved Northumberland, the locals, the history and so much more. This is definitely worth a visit!

This cottage and its location is absolutely beautiful. The owners, Ian and Felicity have created this little getaway with lots of loving care and attention. It's a little gem. It's cosy and homely with lots of nice little personal touches throughout the cottage. The views all around the cottage are stunning. The furnishing and fittings are really high quality and it is spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our two days there, leaving relaxed and refreshed. Would very highly recommend the cottage, the location, Felicity and ian's warm and friendly welcome and the lovely fresh eggs and honey!
